GrippyTrack Installation Instructions

GrippyTrack Installation Instructions

Step 1: Clean the Surface

Use rubbing alcohol to clean the mounting area on your snowboard. Allow the surface to dry completely.

Step 2: Measure the Placement

Measure ½ to ¾ inch from the toe-side edge of your snowboard. This is where the front edge of GrippyTrack should sit. The front edge is the side of the device from which the track extends when deployed.

Step 3: Position GrippyTrack

Peel off the adhesive backing and carefully position GrippyTrack between your rear binding and the center of the board.

For best performance and stability, we recommend placing it closer to the center of the board to minimize unwanted board rotation during use.

Step 4: Test

Slide the track forward toward the toe-side edge and back into its stored position a few times to ensure smooth operation.

Step 5: Secure GrippyTrack

Once you’re satisfied with the position, press firmly to secure GrippyTrack to your snowboard.

That’s it! Your GrippyTrack is installed and ready to go.

GrippyTrack Removal Instructions

Step 1: Extend the Track

Slide the track forward approximately halfway out of its stored position.

Step 2: Remove the Track

Gently pull back the retaining lip on the base to release the track, then slide the track completely out of the base.

Step 3: Remove the Base

Use a plastic or metal scraper, or a similar tool, to carefully lift one corner of the base from the snowboard’s surface.

Once the corner is lifted, slowly peel the rest of the base away from the board. If using a metal scraper, take extra care to avoid scratching the snowboard’s surface.

Step 4: Remove the Adhesive

Peel off the remaining adhesive tape from the bottom of the GrippyTrack base. Remove any adhesive residue from the snowboard’s surface.

Reinstalling GrippyTrack

If you plan to reinstall GrippyTrack, replace the original adhesive with fresh Gorilla gray double-sided mounting tape or a similar strong, weather-resistant mounting tape.

Make sure both mounting surfaces are clean and dry before reinstallation.

That’s it! Your GrippyTrack is removed and ready to be reinstalled when needed.
